How time flies! I'm already half-way through my internship at the bank :) It has been good so far; everybody there loves me hahaha! My supervisor with the nice blue eyes and who looks like a bear cuz he is big and a bit plump (aka John) has tagged me to this pretty lady who has a very sweet tooth yet remains lean cuz she walks or jogs from her house in Harbour Front to Cityhall everyday and is basically an exercise freak (aka Claire). Claire is super nice to me and it is so surprising that she loves indian food too! AND she knows how to cook them, cuz her boyfriend reckons it is the best food in the world hahaha. I feel like a failure now. My boyfriend is an indian and he adores indian food yet I don't know how to cook any! Anyway, I've digressed. Sometimes while we're doing work she'll just suddenly tell me she's going for this cookery lesson and that salsa dancing class. Then she'll show me the websites of the schools. Hahaha slacking during work! And I can't believe her fave fruit juice combi is beet root + ginger + carrot.

Aside from the chunk of crap I've typed above, I am certainly learning lots. Well it's not like I'm learning how to be a real banker cuz my job scope is to look at streamlining all the processes in the bank. Even so, it is definitely a good place to start at knowing how a bank works and its various operations. Apart from the ingestion of financial and IT knowledge, I've also acquired a lot of soft skills like how to deal with people in a workplace and communicate with them effectively. I feel like I can write my PA report now haha.

Last Saturday evening I went to Minshan's house for dinner and we made chocolate fondue after that! Though not a proper one, but we had so much fun melting the milk chocolate and eating strawberries and cakes. Yum yum.

I finally met up with Xiaoling and Xiaohui yesterday!!! Xiaoling the lucky girl went to Japan recently and got us lots of gifts! An elmo handphone chain from Universal Studios, a big tin of butter cookies from Tokyo Disneyland and nice almond nuts coated with sugar from Mount Fuji! Haha I said I'd get them lotsa good stuff from Bangkok too.
We had dinner at Marina Square's Cafe Cartel, then proceeded to walk around the mall aimlessly until I decided to buy a pair of black leggings for fun. And then Xiaohui just couldn't resist not shopping so she bought a belt at the same shop where I bought my leggings. Haha so much for us being poor.

My results were released on 5th June! I was camping til 12.30am to access the stupid website cuz the server kept getting down. NTU peeps are so kiasu (me included, of cuz)! And I'm very satisfied with my results, the best so far! I got an A+ for my cultural studies hehe. My other mods were good too, though they're mostly B+ but I'm really thankful cuz that's my lowest grade! I must chiong during my last year to get at least a 2nd upper $.$
